Welcome to our new Guild and website!

The old website was voc-aa.nl, it was the website of ofcourse the VoC, wich stands for Vereenigde Oostindische Company (in Dutch). This was a full Dutch guild, but sadly walked empty on members.

After a while the leaders also quited or becan taking a brean from Archeage. But now the best leaders are back and we are making the VoC international! Thats why we are called now the East India Company!

Wich is litteraly the translation of the VoC in English :-)

In some other posts I willl try explaining to the ones who are interested what the VoC / E I C means or ment for our country. As you might not know, this was a real thing. 

This group made the Netherlands the biggest commercial country in the world. Even the national language was to be Dutch, However a war broke out with the English and they won, That's why we are now speaking english as a world / trading language :-)

Anyhow, I hope you will enjoy our website, make it fuller and more alive, and ofcourse that you can find everything!
